Yeah. I live. In fact I live quite a busy life now, neglecting the art bit that used to be such an important part of my life when I had the time I wanted to do what I wanted. I've now graduated. I've moved to Scotland where I started my work as a veterinary surgeon. Between out of hours, night calls and shifts from 8:30am to 7pm there's not much time left in the day and whatever is left is used for house chores (haha I'm lying, I actually just play games like Guild Wars 2 or Skyrim or whatever I'm in the mood for, or otherwise I'm completely useless or end up reading technical stuff about work). However I've decided I would get a new tablet, which I'm still trying to get the hang of (much preferred my previous Wacom, so much better grip). I also ended up downloading GIMP since Photoshop is too expensive for the use I give it at the moment and my previous version doesn't work. So also trying to get the hang of that. I decided to try to get some time lapses of my very regressed art, which I'll try to post on youtube (if I find a nice video editor). I started easy with some premade linearts and some colouring work, just to get back on tracks. But I've been dying to do some Guild Wars 2 art, except I get so disappointed with the beginning of it that I don't want to carry on Oh well I guess practice makes perfect hey?

Sorry for neglecting everyone, though I still come around and have a look at people's art and at my gallery and end up thinking "I want to go back to being able to do this stuff!".

Just so you know there's still someone on this side of the account xD I'm now much more into watching pretty art than doing it, no time as usual Entering new exam period, my eyes are already aching from the computer x_X But well, I do spend most of my day on it

Well, biggest news for those who have the time/obcession to play howrse.com, as you may have noticed there are a bunch of new versions, one of them... the portuguese one! Yay! My years of obcession on the English and Spanish version have finally paid off I was asked if I'd like to be part of the moderation team, and I gave it a shot! So yes, Miss Days here is on the Portuguese moderation team, the Green Team ^_^ Didn't notice the new breed, Lusitano?... You're welcome >D
And just so you don't complain I don't do art anyome (which is almost true, cause I've been working more traditionally when I do, which is like when I'm forced to in order to create gifts for others XD), I've got a new Black Pearl coat and an updated one

Now, I know I have barely no Portuguese watchers and out of those, chances of being horse lovers -cough-obcessed-cough- are quite slim... But still, here's the link if you wanna join

Oh oh oh oh, biggest news... I'VE GOTS A KITTY!!! YAY! FINALLY, MY FIRST PET (non including the 3-days living fish and the birds that were always in the garage). I've got a kitty x3

Myeah, hey there, guys who are still crazy enough to watch me... So it's time I say something like "Don't worry, I'm not dead". So now yeah, that's probably the most important thing of my life! XD

- I've got a new addiction, Portuguese version of howrse.com! *freaks out and then gets depressed as no Lusitanos were yet introduced* I'm with Connies. Again. Some breeds actually suck like hell (the most important ones >.>). Still, Fjords and Akhal-Tekes are lovely!!! Now make me happy. It's like Spanish. - I've finally finished the review on my not-anymore-trilogy "The Golden Knights", YAY! I was gonna send away the original to a publisher but I decided to ask one of the "big" ones before, and they actually asked me for a short text on how the story was like I'm waiting on some sort of answer xD Fingers crossed!!!

- Wizard's Apprentice=Awsomeness
- Karate Kid=Way more tears and less bloopers than expected
- Legend of the Guardians=Wanna see it badly (it reminded me of my story, which isn't that good XD Still, the animation looks really promising!)

Well, this journal was written two days ago, but thanks to my stupid "working-now-not-working-5-secs-after" Internet behaviour, I've been unable to update the journal. Luckily I've been prepared and pasted the thing on a Word document! >D


Lalalalala I'm on summer vacation! x3 I'm sorry that I'm really inactive lately, but that's the rule on my art since I've started college. But it's still okay though, I love it x3

So, I'd love to tell you that this will be the best Summer ever in terms of art, but I really don't know if it will XD I will attempt to fulfill some goals though.

- First off, and working on it already, is my contest entry for ; it's proving a challenge and probably the biggest piece I've ever worked on, making my computer go crazy. But I love the concept I'm trying to work with. Plus the sketches have helped me with guys Bad part: it's all about backgrounds and I SUCK with backgrounds. But I'll try

- I am truly determined to finally finish the review on my Golden Knights trilogy to send it off to a couple of editors. I have the "cover" problem though: it's not done and it'll likely won't be. But good thing is I have an amazing friend that gave me all of his "drawing manga tutorial" (which includes, like, A LOT of things), so I may with that help come out with three manga-style covers XD

- I really should make a picture for Aradon, Seedyn and Arking. And a new one for Gallaform. Not only because they have none but also to complete the website I've been putting together for the last years. So when it's done it'll probably need to be redone given the lapse of time XD But I'm not sure time will be enough for all of these.

- So another thing I'll really be working on is my new "Blooded Rabbit" trilogy. There are still plenty of loose ends that I need to stitch together. I need the characters to grow a bit more, some of them are still pretty empty and since they'll be sorta primary characters that ain't much of a good idea xP

Next, I'm not too happy with college this semester as I've set my goals high and couldn't fulfill all of them. But hey, that happens. BAD new + good news on the same day = a happy me

Oh, I'm sorry, but I have to rant about something... My last cinema trip was to see Eclipse. I can't believe I've spent almost 5€ on a ticket for that >.< I have read the book a couple of years ago (or was it last year? Lol, don't even remember) and I've realized with the movie just how bad it was XD I'm sorry to those who love Twilight, but if I had a guy like Edward by my side I'd totally be freaking out and thinking "OMG STALKER". So maybe I should stop now or people will throw things at me... Let's end it this way XD
